My wife and I have recently taken the plunge into bean-to-cup coffee prep, and it's opened up a whole new world for us. We've sampled our way through a lineup of big-name roasters—some great, some forgettable—but we keep coming back to Morning Glory by Crank Coffee.
There's just something about it. The flavour is beautifully balanced—smooth, rich, and just complex enough to keep each cup interesting. There's no overpowering bitterness or acidic bite, just this mellow, satisfying depth that seems to hit the perfect note every time. It’s hard to describe, but it somehow manages to be both comforting and impressive all at once.
On top of that, it’s Fairtrade certified, which is something I personally care a lot about. It feels good knowing that the coffee I’m enjoying was produced ethically, with fair compensation and sustainable practices behind it. Great taste and a positive impact? That’s exactly the kind of coffee I want to support.
Honestly, this coffee is turning me into one of those people—a full-blown coffee snob. I keep comparing every other roast we try to Morning Glory, and none of them quite measure up. It’s become the gold standard in our house.

This coffee is nice and smooth. Not too bold. It's a perfect every day coffee for me. I like the nuttyness of the coffee and has a rich flavor. No needed creamer or sugars for me.

With 100% Fair-trade Organic Arabica coffee beans from Central America, South America, Indonesia, Morning Glory is balanced and smooth, perfect to enjoy iced or hot! The beans can be added to an espresso machine or can be grinded to be used in a percolator, French press or pour over!
The perfect coffee to start my day! I usually opt for a medium-light roast but was pleasantly surprised by how smooth this blend is. The pairing of two different roasts makes for a rich flavour that's not too heavy or bitter. I also love that this particular blend helps to support two initiatives - Community Food Centres and the Morning Glory Cycling Club. Definitely a product you can feel good about buying!
